In this report, we investigate the most popular game engines; their usage by professional status, experience, and organisation size; the platforms targeted by these developers; as well as the programming languages used by developers who use specific game engines. Methodology
This report is based on data collected from the 26th edition of the Developer Nation survey, which reached more than 10,000 respondents from 135 countries around the world and which ran between December 2023 and February 2024.
